Life coach Solomon Buchi has defended billionaire businessman Femi Otedola’s advice to his daughter, Temi, to submit to her husband, Mr. Eazi.
Buchi believes Otedola’s remarks were based on his personal experience and values as a parent. According to Buchi, every parent has the right to guide their children according to their individual conscience and understanding.

Otedola’s advice sparked controversy, with some labeling it “misogynistic”- strongly prejudiced against women.
However, Buchi noted that Otedola’s words should be viewed in the context of his role as a father offering guidance to his daughter. Otedola urged Temi to respect her husband’s leadership, handle problems privately without involving outsiders, and prioritize her marriage. “I remember when I was getting married, my father told me the same thing because even your friends with the purest intentions can break your marriage”, Buchi said.
In his speech at Temi’s wedding, Otedola emphasised the importance of unity and discretion in marriage, describing the couple’s union as “made in heaven.” He also praised Mr. Eazi, noting his entrepreneurial skills and potential for success.

However the weeding clips has also made it way to the internet on the 6th of September 2025, creating buzz on social media with many comparing the wedding with that of billionaire’s son Davido who tied the knot with Chioma in a grand style in Miami.
