Lil Wayne Slams Grammys Over Nominations Snub

American rapper, Lil Wayne angrily slammed the Recording Academy following the 63rd Grammy Awards which held on Sunday.

The five time Grammy winner wrote in a terse post, “Fuk the Grammys.”

Wayne had walked away with zero nominations at this year’s award despite releasing an album last year.

The harsh words come less than four months after the rapper called out the Recording Academy for not recognising his latest body of work titled Funeral.

“As an artist, when I see da Grammys coming up & I’m not involved nor invited, I wonder, ‘Is it me, my musik or just another technicality?’ I look around w respect & wonder competitively am I not worthy?!” Weezy tweeted at the time. “Then, I look around & see 5 Grammys looking back at me & I go to the studio.”
