American movie star, Lisa Sheridan has died at the age of 44. Her manager, Mitch Clem, confirmed this news in a statement shared with People Magazine.
He stated: “We all loved Lisa very much and are devastated by the loss we all feel. She passed away Monday morning, at home, in her apartment in New Orleans. We are waiting for a coroner’s report on cause of death.”
He went on to say however, that the cause of her death had not been determined.
He addressed rumours that had come up that the late actress might have taken her own life. He told People that the death was not a suicide, saying: “The family has unequivocally confirmed that this is not a suicide. Any suggestion to the contrary is absolutely, 100% unfounded”.
Donna D’Errico, Sheridan’s friend and colleague took to her Facebook page to mourn the loss. She shared a lengthy post in which she called the late actress gentle and said she will miss her terribly.
Filmmaker, Michael Dunaway also expressed his sorrow at her loss on his Instagram. He shared some of the precious moments shared with the actress and followed with a comment that she would be missed.
The late Lisa Sheridan has acted in movies like Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), The Mentalist, Halt and Catch Fire among others.
