Eelive.ng gathered that Ryan Giggs first met Natasha Lever (later Natasha Giggs) at a Manchester nightclub in March 2003, while his fiancée Stacey Cooke was pregnant with their first child.

They reportedly spent the night together, kicking off an initial fling. Just two months later, Natasha began dating Ryan’s younger brother, Rhodri Giggs. Despite this, Ryan and Natasha resumed their affair after about a year, carrying it on secretly for eight years (from around 2004 until 2011).

Their meetings often took place in hotels or vacant properties, thanks to her job as a real estate agent.

Addressing the controversy, Giggs mentioned that he regrets ever being involved in the conundrum.

In a recent publication seen by eelive.ng, Giggs said, “There’s only one thing in my life I wish I could go back and change, and that’s the massive devastation I caused to my brother and my family. I won everything in football, but I completely lost in my personal life. When that secret affair came out, my father, my brothers, my entire family spat in my face.”

The former Manchester United captain continued, “They were right. On the field, I was a hero in front of thousands of people, but when I got home, I turned into a man who hated himself. Fame and power give you the illusion that you can do anything, turning you into a selfish monster.”

He added, “I lost to that monster. No matter how many trophies I have today, no achievement can change the fact that I can’t look my brother in the eye.”
