Marvel’s Hawkeye trailer is here!

Disney Plus just announced their latest Marvel offering, Hawkeye with a new trailer.

In the trailer, we watch Hawkeye a.k.a Clint Barton, show his deadly marksmanship alongside Kate Bishop played by Hailee Steinfeld.

The show apparently picks up after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Hawkeye will center around the relationship between Barton and Kate Bishop who wants to be a superhero just like him. Jeremy Renner would reprise the role of Clint Barton.

The official synopsis for the movie says,

Disney+ and Marvel Studios invite you on an unexpected holiday getaway with Hawkeye, a new series set in post-blip New York City. Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit. 

In addition to Renner and Bishop, Hawkeye would also feature Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua CoxFlorence Pugh is also returning as Yelena Belova, the deadly assassin from Black Widow.

During a post-credits scene at the end of the Black Widow film, we saw Yelena Belova being offered the opportunity to hunt down Barton. According to Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Barton was the man responsible for the death of Yelena’s sister, Natasha Romanoff.

Hawkeye is also the fourth and latest live-action Marvel Studios show on Disney’s streaming service. It follows WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and more recently, Loki.

The six episode first offering of Hawkeye drops on Wednesday, Nov. 24. The series boasts Jonathan Igla as writer and executive producer.
