Veteran music executive and Mavin Records founder, Don Jazzy, has once again proven his unmatched eye for talent with the unveiling of CupidSZN, the latest signee to his powerhouse label.
Known for launching the careers of top stars like Rema, Ayra Starr, and Johnny Drille, Don Jazzy introduced 21-year-old Stevenson Njoku, professionally known as CupidSZN, as the newest addition to the Mavin family.

The announcement came alongside the release of CupidSZN’s debut five track EP titled ‘MYTH-ERA’ late Thursday, instantly generating buzz across digital platforms. The Port Harcourt-born artist fuses soulful Afrobeats with trap elements, weaving deeply personal themes of love, betrayal, heartbreak, and self empowerment into his music.

However, despite being a newcomer to the mainstream, CupidSZN already commands over 675,000 monthly Spotify listeners, the EP entered No. 24 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Album Chart. A testament to his growing fan base and independent success before joining Mavin.

Fans have praised the signing, with some drawing early comparisons between CupidSZN and labelmate Rema, hinting at a fresh wave of innovation within the label. With Mavin’s backing, CupidSZN’s journey is off to a powerful start, signaling the rise of yet another breakout star from Don Jazzy’s creative stable.
