After finishing 3rd at the recently concluded 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON), Nigerian football players have returned to various football clubs and reunited with their partners.
Some football players have been able to maintain a low profile about their personal lives over the years, while others are indifferent to public opinion and have preferred to embrace celebrity status.

Being a celebrity comes with a lot of pros than cons. To begin with, you see the epicurean aspect of life and acquire some of the best facilities before it becomes mainstream or goes viral. Nada Bensouna and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, a 24-year-old Nigerian international midfielder and Lazio star, married his Moroccan partner, Nada Bensouna, a 23-year-old model signed with Muse agency, in a private Islamic Nikkah ceremony in Manchester in August 2025. The couple previously went public in December 2024 at a Lazio Christmas party.
