
Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has appreciated her fans and critics after emerging as the number one in the Critics’ Poll for Best Nigerian Performances of 2025 and was also listed among The Nollywood 100.
The actress cum filmmaker, via her Instagram page on Wednesday, shared pictures detailing the achievement.

She captioned the post, “Some moments remind you why you never stop believing in the work. Grateful. Truly grateful.
“To be recognized among The Nollywood 100 and ranked #1 in the Critics’ Poll for Best Nigerian Performances of 2025 is deeply humbling.
“Thank you to the critics, the storytellers, the directors, and every audience member who continues to believe in the work we do.
“This journey has been one of passion, resilience, and purpose… and I’m just getting started.”

This recognition comes during a successful time in Mercy’s career. In 2025, she won best supporting actress at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for her role in Farmer’s Bride.
