Has Mercy Johnson Welcomed Baby No. 4?
Social media has been sent into gaiety following rumours that Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson has welcomed her fourth child.
In the early hours of today, the internet was awash with maternity pictures and congratulatory messages from Johnson‘s colleagues over the birth of her fourth child.
Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, Nigerian actor better known as Junior Pope, took to his Instagram page to share maternity pictures of the actress and her baby.
“Congratulation On The Arrival Of Your New Born….. God is indeed The Greatest. We celebrate with you,” he wrote.
Similarly, Joyce Kalu, an actress, also congratulated the actress on the arrival of her newborn.
“Our baby is hereeeeeee, make some noise for the youngest Okojie. May the almighty be praised for a safe delivery, may the heavens bless your family… love you big,” she wrote.
“Congratulations sis,” Mary Njoku captioned a photo of Johnson and her husband, Odianosen Okojie with the new born.
Mercy Johnson’s husband addresses rumours
However, Mercy Johnson‘s husband, Prince Odi Okojie, has come out to deny reports that his wife has put to bed.
He noted that no such thing had taken place and he would be sure to notify fans and followers of the new born’s arrival. He wrote via Instagram:
“I woke up this morning to see countless missed calls and messages congratulating me on the arrival of our new baby.
“We are so thankful for the show of love, but my wife @mercyjohnsonokojie has not put to bed. Yet, it is good news and I will certainly update you all when it happens. Thank you and God bless.”
Mercy Johnson, 35, had, revealed some months back that she was expecting a fourth child.
“I’ve always wanted 4 but, after 3 kids, I thought I had retired from the baby-making business,” she had said.
“So a while back, we found out we had a baby on the way. I can’t explain the joy and peace expecting our new baby has brought. Or the cravings for food that have followed.”
