Angela Okorie, a controversial Nollywood actress has sparked controversy following a recent allegation against her colleague Mercy Johnson Okojie.
Trouble started after Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop shared the clip of Mercy Johnson showing off the effect of her slimming tea from TikTok on his Instagram page.
Recall, Mrs. Okojie, who was known for her curvaceous figure, created a buzz when she unveiled her slimmer physique. In response to the attention her significant weight loss garnered, the actress assured her fans that her transformation is the result of a non-surgical weight loss program that she promotes.
However, in the new video shared by Nollywood producer, Ontop, Johnson was displaying the effects of her product as she dances to the gospel tune, Obata.

Sharing the video on Instagram, he wrote: “Nollywood legendary actress Mercy Johnson Okojie showing off her new body as she sings the Igbo trending music “Obata” Omo Mercy is looking absolutely stunning and young Number 1, I, to,o love Mercy Johnson.”
In reaction to the video, Okorie took to the comment section of the post to criticise her colleague over her new body.
The controversial actress claimed that Mercy was a bloodsucking demon who no longer had blood to consume. She further stated that unless Mercy apologized to the people whose lives she had ruined, she would never find peace.

Okorie’s comment has garnered mixed reactions from fans, while some criticized her, others however, backed her, alleging various claims against the mother of four.
One user wrote: “Here is the thing about the past and the present. It is possible MJ has had a bad past. It is however pathetic to keep dragging her.

Another user condemned Okorie’s action, noting that she is unstable, “Mental health and psychiatric health needs to be taken more seriously in Naija for real. So many patients are not getting treatment because they show up every day in bone straight and fully made face.”
