
Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has redirected the public to his social media platforms for updates regarding the ongoing DNA controversy surrounding his grandson, Liam.
The late singer’s father, who has remained a central figure in the quest for justice following his son’s untimely passing in September 2023, addressed the matter during a recent interview.
He suggested that his YouTube and TikTok platforms now serve as the primary repository for his stance on the paternity issue.

In the interview, Mr Aloba appeared weary of the repetitive questioning surrounding the DNA test, which has been a point of significant public debate and legal manoeuvring. Mr Aloba insisted that he had already provided comprehensive details through his personal YouTube channel.

“I’ve said a lot already; anybody that wants to know any time about Mohbad’s son DNA situation should go to my YouTube channel or my TikTok, and they’ll see everything there,” he said.
However, Mr Aloba argued that his decision to share information directly on YouTube and TikTok allows him to bypass potential misinterpretations by third-party outlets.

The death of Mohbad continues to be a subject of intense investigation and public interest in Nigeria. The singer died under mysterious circumstances, leading to a massive “Justice for Mohbad” movement that transcended national borders.
