Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of the late Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has shared a recent update regarding the paternity of her son, Liam Aloba, following requests from her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, and the court.
In a post shared on social media, Omowunmi claimed that her father-in-law has been stalling the exercise for reasons unbeknownst to her.

Wunmi mentioned that the hearing for the case resumed yesterday, Wednesday, December 3, with her father-in-law applying for an order that the DNA test must be carried out in two hospitals of his choice. Wunmi mentioned that the application was struck out by the court as it insists that the DNA tests must be carried out in two neutral hospitals where both parties have no interest.

MohBad and his wife, Omawunmi, had a son who was born in April 2023. On 12 September 2023, MohBad died at the age of 27 after being treated for an infection by an unlicensed nurse, who was later arrested. Police subsequently announced they would investigate the circumstances of the singer’s death after his body was exhumed on 21 September 2023.
