Philomena Osawaru, mother-in-law of popular Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has made a special request to the music star and his wife, Natasha.
Speaking during 2Face’s 50th birthday celebration in Lagos on Friday, Mrs. Osawaru expressed her joy at being part of the milestone event and used the opportunity to tell the couple that she expects to see a new addition to the family soon.
The mother-in-law, who joined family and friends to celebrate the music legend, praised 2Face for the life he has lived and the grace he carries at 50.
“It is a joy and delight to have you as my son-in-law,” she said, smiling “Innocent Idibia, at 50, you are looking like 25. When some of us are praying to age gracefully, God has already done it for you. You will continue to age gracefully, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
But she did not stop there, Mrs. Osawaru added a request that quickly caught the attention of everyone present.
“By the time we come next, we will see the baby crawling around,” she declared, hinting at her desire to welcome a grandchild from the couple.
