Popular Nigerian actress Omotunde Sogunle, better known as Motunde in Mr. Macaroni’s comedy skits, has shared how a false story almost broke her down some years ago.
The actress, in a recent interview, recalled how she was once accused of being pregnant for her on-screen father, Mr. Macaroni, and even said to have aborted the pregnancy.
Motunde said the rumour came as a big shock to her because it was not true in any way. She explained that her relationship with Mr. Macaroni was strictly professional and nothing beyond their work together.

According to her, the false report left her devastated at the time, and she struggled with the pain of being wrongly accused.
However, she noted that with time, she healed from the experience and can now look back and laugh about it with Mr. Macaroni himself.
Her words: “They said I got pregnant for my on-screen daddy, Mr. Macaroni, and that I aborted the pregnancy. I was shocked. When did that happen? It is not possible. Must there be such a thing between people in a working relationship? I was really devastated then.
“One of the things I have learned from Mr. Macaroni is to keep your silence for your own peace. The more you come out to counter false claims, the longer the matter drags and you will have to keep explaining.”
The actress added that today, instead of being weighed down by such rumours, she has chosen to focus on her craft and keep moving forward in her career.
