Oluwatosin ‘Mr Eazi’ Ajibade, the Nigerian singer, and his wife, Temi Otedola-Ajibade have disclosed that they had sought advice from a total of nine medical professionals across various countries for the arrival of their first child.
The couple in a recent Podcast also noted the reason behind the global search for expertise, explaining that it was their indecision about where they would ultimately choose to welcome their newborn.
“Why exactly do we see nine doctors? Nine doctors, to give you options, not just that, because we didn’t know where we were going to be. Which country? We didn’t know which country we would decide on. I wanted Japan,” the singer said.
Temi added: “He’s been looking at Japanese baby names, and I keep telling him. Absolutely not.”
The couple first announced they were expecting a child in May, revealing they had discovered the pregnancy during their honeymoon in Asia.

“We found out I was pregnant about two and a half weeks into our honeymoon in Tokyo. One day, while we were walking around the city, I knew I wasn’t feeling well and I was getting carsick. Then we had dinner at an Italian restaurant one night, and I couldn’t eat the pasta or any of the food,” Temi said.
The couple’s romance began in 2017, and they got engaged in April 2023.
After six years together, they celebrated with a lavish wedding held in three parts across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland. The event was rumoured to have cost around $15 million.
Eazi recently suggested there might be a fourth wedding ceremony, saying, “and we have one more to go”.
