Mr Eazi Wins Big at the Latin Grammys for Collaboration
On November 20, 2020, Nigerian superstar Mr Eazi announced that he had won big at the 2020 Latin Grammys.
Mr Eazi won Best Urban Music Album for his work on Colores, J Balvin’s fifth studio album and his sixth overall album. Eazi was featured on track nine, Arcoiris on Colores. The Colores album was released on 19 March 2020.
The 21st Annual Latin Grammy Awards by The Latin Recording Academy held on November 20, 2020. The Latin Grammy Award is an award by The Latin Recording Academy to recognize outstanding achievement in the Latin music industry
This was also the second time Eazi would feature on a song with J Balvin. In 2019, Eazi was a collaborator on Oasis, the joint album by Balvin and fellow Latin pop artist, Bad Bunny.
Reacting to the Latin Grammys announcement, Mr Eazi took to his social media pages to write, “I got so in Love with the Latino/Urbano scene. I recorded, toured, learned & made magic with some of the most beautiful souls!! @MichaelBrun @JBALVIN, Sky & the entire Latino Gang!!! We got a Grammy.”
This continues an incredible 2020 for Eazi, who says his single Oh My Gawd will top the US iTunes Charts. Earlier in the year, Eazi released an EP, One Day You Will Understand.
Mr Eazi also recently announced plans to start a podcast with his actress/heiress girlfriend Temi Otedola.
