Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has cleared the air over claims that he was slapped during his visit to Warri, Delta State.
The music star was in Delta State over the weekend, where he thrilled guests at a wedding ceremony before later stepping out to a popular club in the city.
Shortly after his outing, a video began trending on social media showing the moment Davido was hit on the head while making his way out of the club. The clip sparked reactions online, with some users claiming that the award-winning artiste had been slapped by a fan.

Reacting to the speculation, Davido took to his 𝕏 handle to dismiss the story. He explained that the incident had nothing to do with a fan, stressing that it was his own security man who mistakenly hit him.
In his words: “Mumu, that was my security, hit me by mistake, saddist.”
