Music Producer Sarz Recounts Most Embarrassing Moments with Wizkid and Patoranking
When you listen to a song and hear “beat by Sarz”, you immediately know it’s about to be a hopping tune full of heavy bass and strong beats. This is why Osabuohien Osaretin, better known as Sarz is popular in the Nigerian music industry scene – he gives us the good beats!
The popular beat maker recently took to his social media to narrate some of his most embarrassing moments in his career. It has happened between him and two of our superstars.
Following what he shared, the memories of that moment came back to him when he was listening to “This Kind Love”, a song by Patoranking and Wizkid.

He recounted how he had produced the beat and Wizkid had jumped on it to record a chorus but only halfway. Then Patoranking got hold of the unfinished track and added his part to it, after which he contacted the producer to inform him that he thought the song was finished. Pato asked the producer what he thought about the song and the producer responded that he thought it was a dope track.
However, Sarz did not really like Pato’s version of the song and when Wizkid called him with excitement in his voice to enquire about the status of the song, Sarz couldn’t help but tell him what he thought. What he didn’t know was that the phone was on speaker and Pato was listening in on the conversation and that was where ‘kasala’ burst. He added later that he must have been crazy not to think that the song wasn’t dope because on second listen, he liked it.
