Former Big Brother Naija winner Josephine Otabor A.K.A Phyna has opened up about her evolving views on marriage as she prepares to enter her thirties.
In a recent video, the reality star reflected on how her opinions about unmarried women in their thirties have changed over time, admitting that growing older has given her a new perspective on life and relationships.

Phyna revealed that approaching her 29th birthday made her realise just how quickly time passes, noting that the age she once considered distant now feels surprisingly close.
She said: “I’m just thinking out loud. I remember when I was 22, 23 then, you know, 29 was so far away, but now this is 29 and everything is just dawning on me.”

She recalled that when she was younger, she often wondered why some of her aunts were still unmarried in their early thirties and struggled to understand their circumstances at the time.
She continued: “I remember that time all those my aunties that were like in their early 30s that they are not married. I’d be like, ‘Auntie, you no go marry? Auntie, you no marry?’ Like then it was looking like the auntie get problem.”

Now finding herself nearing the same stage of life, the reality star said her outlook has shifted completely, as she better appreciates that everyone moves through life at their own pace and that marriage does not happen according to a fixed timetable.
She added: “Guys. Guys. We sef don dey touch am o. Auntie no get problem. I swear. Our aunties, they did have problem. No single problem.”
