Nollywood actor Mofe Duncan has announced the passing of his father, Professor Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan.
The actor shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram page alongside a photo of his late father, describing the loss as deeply painful.
“The Professor has rested. With a deep sense of grief and gratitude, the family of Professor JTK Duncan wishes to announce his glorious transition,” the family’s statement read.
In an emotional tribute, Mofe wrote:
“And then my Daddy slept. My sweet old pops has gone to be with the Lord. My Champion has transcended.
“Thank you, Daddy… truly. I will celebrate you.
“My heart is broken, but it smiles because I now have another angel watching over me, and that angel was once my Daddy.”
The actor’s post has since drawn an outpouring of condolences from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
