My marriage is sweeter than what you see online – Regina Daniels
Nigerian actress Regina Daniels opened up about her marriage to 62-year-old Ned Nwoko in a recent interview with BBC Pidgin.
She emphasized that their marriage is stronger and happier than what people perceive online.
Regina, who is 22 years old, explained that contrary to social media assumptions, their marriage is solid.
She mentioned that she and her husband often read online comments and laugh at the misconceptions.
She humorously said, “Truly, he’s the real Odogwu, and our marriage is sweeter than what people see online.
Sometimes when I see people’s comments online saying ‘I’m sure this isn’t how they are at home, my husband and I read those comments laughing and thinking ‘If only they knew how it is inside our household.'”

Regina also described her comfortable lifestyle, thanks to her marriage to Nwoko.
She mentioned that her husband fulfills her every wish, and she doesn’t need to engage in household chores or cooking because they have domestic staff.
Regina added that when she tries to do chores, her husband stops her, emphasizing that her lifestyle is comfortable rather than luxurious.
She said, “Anything I want, I always get it. Even when it comes to cooking, if I decide that I want to cook, my husband would even reprimand me for cooking and ask me to leave the kitchen.
Even if I decide that I want to sleep for a week, I can because that’s how it is. It’s a comfortable lifestyle and a loving one at that.”
Regina also expressed that she doesn’t care about public opinions regarding her marriage because she is happy and well-treated by her husband.
She stated that Nwoko is a good husband to their children. Contrary to online perceptions, she emphasized that they live together and share the same room.
Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels’ marriage, which caused a social media frenzy in 2019 when Regina was 19 years old, has since seen the birth of two sons, both born on the same day two years apart.
Nwoko, in a 2022 interview with The Guardian Nigeria, revealed that he has six wives, with Regina being the last.
