Nigerian Highlife sensation Adekunle Gold has finally addressed the persistent online speculation regarding the size of his family, firmly debunking claims that he and his wife, fellow music star Simi, welcomed twins.
The artist, known for keeping his private life relatively guarded despite his global fame, cleared the air during a candid discussion about his domestic life and the creative synergy between him and Simi.
He went on to clarify that, while the internet has been rife with theories of a second addition to their family, the couple has only one son in addition to their firstborn.
“It’s interesting to be married to another fantastic songwriter and now our daughter is already giving signs that she might be one for the music as well. My wife and I didn’t give birth to twins, it’s just internet rumours; we have a son,” he said.
