Naira Marley Out of Prison 14 Days After Court Granted Bail

Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley is finally out of prison.  Naira Marley was arrested in May by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for cyber crime, popularly known as “yahoo yahoo.”

Although there is no official report of his release, a video of his release showed his fans, friends and family welcoming him after his time in prison. YBNL boss, Olamide also confirmed the release of Naira Marley via his official Instagram page. He wrote: “Stubborn 🙏🏾 Freedom 🙏🏾 Stay positive bro”

Naira Marley is facing 11 counts bordering on cyber crime, an offence contrary to section 27(1) (b) of the Cybercrime prohibition, Prevention Act 2015.

Meanwhile, his release is coming 14 days after Justice Nicholas Oweibo had granted him bail with a condition of two sureties in like sum. Naira Marley is due back in court in October.
