Who is Nana Kwaku Bonsam?

He is a controversial Ghanaian traditional priest and fetish priest from Afrancho in the Ashanti Region. His name, “Bonsam,” translates literally to “Devil” in the Akan language, a title given to him by a local chief. He operates the Kofi oo Kofi Shrine, practicing traditional African spiritualism.
Bonsam grew up as a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. At age 19, he survived a severe gas explosion that left him with permanent physical scars. He states that this near-death experience completely transformed his life, driving his shift toward traditional spiritual practices.
