Nengi Stripped Off Face of Bayelsa Girl Child
Reality TV star, Nengi has been stripped off the face of Bayelsa Girl Child.
Recall that last year (November), the BBNaija star secured the appointment from Governor Douye Diri-led government.
Aside from being the face of Bayelsa Girl Child, Diri also appointed Nengi as a Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to him.
The appointment at the time attracted criticism, as members of the public slammed the governor for celebrating mediocrity.
Amongst those who criticised the state government’s decision of appointing Nengi was maverick entertainer, Charly Boy.
Unhappy with Nengi’s appointment, Charly Boy wondered how the governor snubbed a first class graduate for Nengi.
“The young lady with white is a first-class graduate of the Niger Delta University, Faculty of Law, as well as a first-class graduate Nigeria Law School… she was not honoured by her Bayelsa State Government…
“In another development, a girl, who is alleged to be a Third Class Graduate and a participant (A Runner Up) in the “Big Brother Naija” show, was given a state reception and was also honoured with a government appointment and was also declared the role model to the Bayelsa State Girl Child (the Face of the Bayelsa Girl Child).
“What an irony and a misplacement of moral priority! “Meanwhile, congratulations to our lawyer, the True Face of the Bayelsa Girl Child, as far as I and every other realist, is concerned,” he penned.
With Nengi’s removal, it however looks like Charly Boy’s voice and other Nigerians’ have been heard, as the governor appointed Ebizi Blessing Eradiri, a first-class graduate from the Niger Delta University and Nigeria Law School, to replace her.
