Social media is fuming in anger after disturbing videos surfaced online, allegedly showing what some describe as a “rape festival” or tradition-linked sexual assaults during a cultural event in Ozoro, headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State.
According to voices from some clips which has gone viral on social media platforms, it claims that women are prohibited from coming out on the day of the festival and any lady found is sexually assaulted in the public space under the guise of festival rites.
