Nicki Minaj has defended her newly wedded husband Kenneth Petty from the mockery of TV show host Wendy Williams. The Chun-Li singer took to her Queen Radio show and expressed her anger at Williams, calling her demonic and vicious.
Here’s how it all started
On her show, Wendy Williams mocked Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty’s relationship. She proceeded to describe Petty as a “sex offender” and a “killer”. Petty’s criminal record has been a topic of discourse for a lot of Nicki fans. But Nicki Minaj has made it clear that she will not tolerate any slander against her man.
In a particularly scathing episode of Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj responded to Wendy Williams. Here’s what she said: “It’s not about doing your job. There are people who report the news and there are people who do it with evil intent in their heart, viciousness.”
The rapper continued, stating that people needed to stop judging her husband by his past. She said: “I didn’t know that in our society, you have to be plagued by your past. I didn’t know that people can’t turn over a new leaf. I didn’t know that your viciousness and evilness was this deep-rooted.”
Then Nicki fought dirty…
Nicki dragged Williams through her own scandals. She referred to Wendy’s divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter, which is a sore spot for the TV host. “When a woman isn’t really being loved at home, the viciousness is a different type,” Nicki said.
She followed up, addressing Wendy’s husband fathering a child with another woman during their marriage. Nicki said, “So, I really wanted to pray for you today because look at where you are now in your life. Look at what age you are.
“You’re sat up there being vicious all this time and paid for that man’s mistress all these years. You paid for her shopping sprees, you paid for her hotels, you probably even paid for her GYN bills, you paid to have that baby delivered, hoe.”
“How you doin’, stupid?” she said, turning Wendy’s signature catchphrase against her.
Then she calls her demonic…
Nicki concluded the rant saying, “I know we’re human first, we’re human before we’re celebrities, we’re human before we’re personas. And I know you must have gone through a lot. But you are demonic, and that’s why this stuff unfolded”.
She added, “If I were you, I would go and pray, ask for forgiveness. You can report the news—people do it all the time—without the level of viciousness and trying to play dumb and doing all this nonsense.”
