Nigerian-Irish Councillor, Yemi Adenuga Stars In New Film,”Behind Her Mask”

The First Black female Councilor in the Republic of Ireland, Yemi Adenuga, features in Bola Akande’s new all-female movie, “Behind her Mask”.

The film tells the story of a group of women in various occupational fields, who set out on a weekend journey of self-discovery through a “purpose searching” conference.

In the film written and directed by Bola Akande, Adenuga, plays “Ivy”, one of the women on a life transforming journey.

The women include two childhood friends, a life coach, a fashion model, a full-time housewife and a widow; all of whom have secrets swept under the carpet as they wear a mask of falsity. Will the conference force out secrets of the past?

Asides being the 1st Black female Councilor in the Republic of Ireland, Yemi Adenuga is also a high impact speaker and CEO of SHEROES global, an organization that celebrates womanhood and equips them to be financially free.

She is also co-founder of D-dymension, a multifunctional communication-based company in the Republic of Ireland.
