
Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly called out his father, accusing him of theft, extortion, and attempting to seize his hard-earned properties.
Portable in a video that has now gone viral, claimed his father had taken personal belongings including shoes, clothes, and other items while aggressively pursuing his assets, such as cars and houses. He further alleged that his father obtained the phone numbers of his baby mamas and repeatedly demanded money from them.
In his words: “My dad is like baba Mohbad, he has taken all my shoes and clothes and he’s just after my properties. He has all my baby mama phone numbers and he bills them for money all the time.”

The singer expressed deep frustration over years of alleged neglect, stating that his father failed to support his education or career aspirations. He recounted being sent away from Abuja to learn tailoring in Lagos on his own and questioned his father’s role in his life, noting absences during his struggles, including police encounters. “You did not send me to school… What is your importance in my life?” Portable asked.
He also accused his father of financial misconduct during a building project, claiming that his life was more stable without his father’s involvement, “My life was good when you’re not with me,” and vowing not to allow similar exploitation to what he believes happened to Mohbad.
