Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi Bolatito Kosoko popularly known as Symply Simi, has melted hearts across social media after sharing an emotional tribute to her mother, Olushola Ogunleye, as she celebrates her 70th birthday.
In a touching Instagram post, Simi described her mother as the centre of her world, showering her with love and gratitude. “My sweet girl is 70 today. Wow. You deserve the world, because you mean the world to me,” she wrote. “They say nobody loves you like your mom and for me, it’s absolutely true.”

The award-winning artist and mother of two, thanked her mother for her unwavering support and selfless love. “Thank you for being there for me in all the ways that matter. My only request from you is that you live forever,” she prayed, adding that her mother remains “the most selfless person I know in the world.”
Simi also celebrated her mother’s youthful energy, saying she “looks and moves fantastic for a 70-year-old babe”
