Nigerian comedian and content creator Oderhohwo Joseph Efe A.K.A Carter Efe has expressed frustration over what he described as Nigerians’ lack of concern for dancer and hypeman Poco Lee, who is currently facing legal proceedings in the United Kingdom.
The 30 -year-old content creator made the remarks while reacting to Poco Lee’s ongoing situation in the UK, where the dancer has been charged with five sexual offences.
Snaresbrook Crown Court confirmed that the charges include two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape.
Speaking passionately about Poco Lee, Carter Efe recalled the entertainment and happiness Poco Lee has brought to Nigerians through his dancing and performances.
He went on to question why the public appeared to have moved on with their lives despite the seriousness of the situation.
He said: “Nigerians are not good people. Despite the amount of joy Poco Lee has given us, Nigerians have moved on with their life. We are supposed to shut down the UK and bring him out.”
