In a move raising eyebrows among online watchers, a Canada-based Nigerian doctor Dr. Zo has urged streamer Carter Efe to immediately delete his emotional video begging Seyi Tinubu and Nigerians for help securing a US visa.
Carter Efe, known for his comedy skits and online presence, went viral after posting a tearful plea. Overwhelmed with emotion, he begged for intervention to attend popular streamer Kai Cenat’s prestigious Streamer University bootcamp in the United States, highlighting the hurdles Nigerian applicants often face.

Dr. Zo, however, sounded a strong note of caution. “I think Carter Efe made a mistake and should delete that video immediately,” the doctor warned. “U.S. immigration now pays close attention to people’s social media, and they could interpret the video differently, suggesting he may not intend to return to Nigeria.”

He stressed that political connections like Seyi Tinubu hold no sway with US Embassy visa officers and expressed hope that things work out for the content creator.
Immigration experts often advise against public displays of desperation, as US non-immigrant visas (such as B1/B2) require clear proof of strong ties to Nigeria and intent to return. Social media content can be reviewed during adjudication, turning what was meant as a cry for help into potential evidence of immigrant intent.
Carter Efe however, is yet to publicly respond to the doctor’s advice as of press time.
