Nigerian Afro-house singer Niniola Apata has released the official funeral programme for her beloved husband, Michael Chiedu Ndika popularly known as “Big Mike” or “XO”, who passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the age of 44.
In a heartfelt post, the grieving singer shared the burial arrangements with fans and well-wishers. According to the family’s announcement:

- Funeral Mass: Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM

Ndika, born on October 13, 1981, was Niniola’s husband of 13 years, longtime manager, business partner, and closest confidant. The couple kept their marriage largely private, with Niniola describing him as her “best friend, pillar, joy giver, provider, and the air I breathe.”
Since the announcement of his passing, tributes have continued to pour in from the music industry and fans. Niniola had earlier poured out her heart in emotional tributes, revealing the depth of their bond and how devastating the loss has been for her.
