Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has spoken about her past relationships and the lessons she has picked up along the way.
The movie star, who is popularly called NBS by her fans, made the revelation during a recent episode of her podcast. She said that in all her relationships, she has never dated a man who is richer than she is. According to her, she has always been the one taking care of herself because she is not a materialistic person.
Speaking further, Nkechi explained that she had dated “down” three different times, and she has vowed not to repeat the same mistake again. In her words, “I’ve never dated someone who has more money than I do. I’ve dated down three times, and I’m not doing that anymore.”
The actress, who has been open about her private life on social media, also recalled how her relationship with Delta-born entertainer, Eseoghene Obire, better known as Xxssive, came to an end. In March, Nkechi revealed on Instagram that they had quietly broken up in 2023. She, however, stressed that there was no quarrel between them and that they still share mutual respect.
It will be recalled that Nkechi and Xxssive started dating in 2021 shortly after her public breakup with Ekiti politician, Opeyemi Falegan. The relationship with Xxssive made headlines often, with the pair sharing loved-up photos and videos before things went sour.
