Halima Abubakar, the Nollywood actress who has been unwell, has asked the public for help after her landlady evicted her, even though she was prepared to renew her rent.
In a live TikTok video, Halima disclosed that she was evicted even after offering to pay her rent again. She also talked about her ongoing health problems, which she has shared with her followers in recent months.
She said, ‘’I have been evicted from my house. All the money people have been sending to me for my brain tumour, I took out of it to pay the house rent but my landlady said she didn’t want the money. She doesn’t want me in her house. What is my offence? I don’t want to k!ll myself. I can’t be homeless when I have money. No celebrity wants to help me.”

The 39-year-old actress, who has not appeared in films for several years, also spoke about her health issues and how they have affected her life and career.
In earlier posts and videos, she said she has been dealing with a serious illness that she has not disclosed.

She explained that she used a TikTok filter to hide how much her condition has affected her, telling her followers:
“People are confused about what is going on. I am not feeling well up until now. I am just good at being strong and pretending that I am okay. This is me, but every day you see me post a picture with a filter. That is a filter on TikTok, not me. This is how I look.”

She also talked about how hard it has been to get help for her medical care. In earlier appeals, she said she had asked people and organizations, including the Kogi state government, for help but did not get any support.
In that appeal, she said:“Help me, I’m tired of begging people. Please tag Kogi state government.”
She also said she sold some of her belongings to pay for her medical bills.
Her eviction and ongoing requests for help have led to reactions on social media, with many people calling for support for the actress as she faces health and housing problems
