Veteran Nollywood actress and evangelist Eucharia Anunobi has shared her views on financial responsibility in relationships, stating that a man should strive to earn his own income rather than depend on a woman for sustenance.
In a recent statement, Eucharia said “No man feels complete when a woman is feeding him. That’s why it’s expedient for a man to have his own money.”
However, according to Eucharia, financial independence plays a significant role in a man’s sense of dignity and confidence. Eucharia emphasised that while mutual support is essential in relationships, a man should not become comfortable relying entirely on his partner for financial upkeep.
Eucharia, who has often spoken on moral and social issues, maintained that economic responsibility remains a vital aspect of adulthood.
