The popular Balogun market in Lagos shut down on Thursday during the visit of controversial Nollywood actress Angela Okorie.
Okorie and her team visited the popular market for a movie shoot, but things got out of hand after excited fans of the actress trooped out in mass to take pictures and videos of the actress.
In the video that surfaced on social media on Thursday, security operatives had a hard time controlling the crowd who trooped out and mobbed Okorie.
Sharing the videos on her Instagram story, the actress disclosed that the love was massive.
“Onye buluebu ebugo. Comot body for high tension. We could not shoot. The love was massive.Everywhere choke, I love my people and my people love me. As e dey play e dey show” she captioned the video

Okorie made the headlines last week after she publicly disclosed that she had forgiven her colleague, Mercy Johnson from every wrong doing.
She had, also disclosed that Johnson was allegedly battling with a serious illness which led to a public spat with her junior colleague, Regina Daniels.
The actress rode to the spotlight in 2009 after featuring on ‘Holy Serpent’, a Nollywood hit movie.
She has since starred in several blockbuster movies including ‘Heart of a Widow’ and ‘Secret Code.’
She has also snagged several awards for her impressive stints in the movie industry. The movie star won the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ category at the 2015 edition of the City People Entertainment Awards.
