The Nollywood film industry came together to pay tribute to actor Junior Pope and four other crew members who tragically lost their lives in a boat accident on April 10, 2024, while returning from a movie shoot.
The memorial service was held at St. Johnbosco Catholic Church in Asaba, Delta State, and was attended by industry colleagues, friends, and fans.
The ceremony was a somber and emotional occasion, with attendees dressed in black to mourn the loss of the talented individuals. Filmmaker Stanley Ontop shared photos and videos of the service on his Instagram page, showcasing the heartfelt tributes and prayers offered by those in attendance.
