North West Performs at Yeezy’s Paris Fashion Week Showcase
Imagine being a model and trying to keep a straight face as a child raps on the runway. This was what happened yesterday as North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, made a surprise debut at Yeezy’s fashion showcase.
The six-year-old rapped in front of a crowd as models walked by in her father’s fashion show.
Kanye West returned to showing his Yeezy collections with a season 8 runway presentation during Paris Fashion Week after a two-year hiatus.
The return of Yeezy was in its own worthy of discussion. However, most of the conversation about the fashion show rather centered on the debut vocal performance of North West.
In the crowd were her parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, aunt Kourtney Kardashian, and cousin Penelope Dissick, all cheering the young rapper on.
While this Yeezy’s showcase is the first time North West is performing publicly, this is not her first time at a fashion show. When she was just over a year old, North had her own front-row seat at the Givenchy show in 2014; where she sat glamorously in a custom black Givenchy dress.
For this time around at Paris Fashion Week, however, North opted for a more sporty look, wearing a neutral matching pant set and a bright fuchsia padded gilet; an ensemble fit for an upcoming stark.
