‘Nothing is wrong with me’ – Bisi Olatilo Debunks Death Rumours
There have been rumours on social media that TV legend Bisi Olatilo died of COVID-19 complications. However, Olatilo has debunked the rumours of his death; disclosing in a video that he is currently in the hospital treating an illness.
The 67-year-old, in the video, said doctors are working to see that he comes out of the hospital hale and hearty. He thanked his pastor and well-wishers for their messages.
Olatilo also expressed gratitude to his wife for staying by his side through his illness. In the video debunking his death, Olatilo’s wife is shown sitting across from him with a facemask on, with him saying “what can I do without my wife”.
“So here that I am receiving treatment; all the doctors you know in different departments they are working in tandem to see that this man comes out, finally, very well,” Olatilo said.
“And I thank my father-in-the-Lord, Pastor Wole Oladiyun, who has been ministering and I have five-star generals all over the place, even my wife; tell me what can I do without my wife?
“She keeps telling me I have been advertising her 40th year, so this year ademamuje lagbara olorun; we have marriages to face. And all of those who have been calling us have been expressing good wishes for us.
“Nothing is wrong with me. It is the fake news merchants… tell anyone you know that I am strong, nothing is wrong with me. I just want to rest.”
