Popular media personality and OAP Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, widely known as an Do2dtun, has sparked widespread reactions after urging Nigerians to boycott South African singer Tyla’s upcoming concert in Lagos.
Do2dtun made the call in a strongly worded post on X, where he condemned anyone planning to attend the show amid reports of renewed xenophobic attacks against Nigerians and other African nationals in South Africa.

In the post, he stated that those who choose to attend the concert despite the situation were betraying the interests of their fellow citizens.
His comments have since generated heated debate across social media, with many Nigerians divided over whether entertainers should be held accountable for political or social issues in their home countries.
While some users supported the proposed boycott as a show of solidarity with victims of xenophobic violence, others argued that Tyla should not be blamed for actions carried out by individuals or groups in South Africa.
The controversy comes shortly after Tyla announced the dates for her world tour, with a Lagos performance scheduled for December 22, making it one of the most anticipated stops on the tour.
