Obama’s 2020 Summer Playlist Boasts Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy
Barrack Obama, former US president has given the internet a list of his 2020 summer playlist and it features Nigerian artistes, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Tems.
In a tweet; he stated that the songs are a sampling of what he and his family has been listening to.
“Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer—including songs from some of the artists at this week’s @DemConvention. Hope you enjoy it,” he wrote on Twitter.
Among the 53 songs listed by Obama are Wizkid‘s Smile featuring H.E.R, and Know Your Worth remix by Khalid and Disclosure featuring Davido and Tems. Burna Boy made the list for featuring on Be Honest by Jorja Smith.
Also on the list is Nigerian-American rapper, Chika‘s hit single Crown alongside songs from Rihanna, Beyonce, Nas, J.Cole and Frank Ocean among others.
