Odunlade Adekola: There is No Perfect Marriage
Odunlade Adekola opened up recently about the harsh realities of marriage during an interview with City People Magazine.
The Nollywood actor who got married to his wife, Ruth in 2003 debunked the myth that all marriages are perfect fairy tales. Nonetheless he says “we only work extra to make everything perfect.”
He admitted:
“I can’t really say much about that because we have different background and home training and also in the industry. So I will still say it is the power of God because nobody is perfect and we all have our shortcomings and there is no perfect marriage anywhere. So we only work extra to make everything perfect.”
Odunlade Adekola also stated that every marriage has its high and low times. He said:
“Every marriage definitely has its own ups and downs, so it is understanding and patients that make everything work. Nobody has supernatural power.”
In times past, the father of four had been linked to yoruba actress, Eniola Ajao. The rumour about their relationship sprang from a picture of their movie together titled New Wife which surfaced on the internet. Fans started speculating on whether the actor married a second wife. It later became clear that the two were only co-workers launching a romantic comedy to their fans.
