
Nigerian rap legend Olamide has etched his name in history books by becoming the first African rapper to sell out the iconic OVO Arena Wembley in London.
The 12,500-capacity venue was packed to the brim on November 23, 2025, as fans gathered to celebrate Olamide’s illustrious career and witness a night of unforgettable performances.

The concert was a testament to Olamide’s enduring appeal and influence, with fans singing along to hits that span over a decade. The setlist featured a mix of solo tracks and collaborative efforts with special guests, including Asake, Seyi Vibez, Bella Shmurda, and Lil Kesh, among others. The highlight of the night was the powerful collaboration “99” with Asake and Seyi Vibez, which had the crowd dancing all through the night.

Olamide’s journey to the top has been marked by numerous milestones, including selling out the 5,039-capacity Eventim Apollo in 2016 and releasing nine acclaimed albums.
He has also played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s music industry, signing and mentoring global stars such as Fireboy DML and Asake.

The OVO Arena show was more than just a concert – it was a celebration of Nigerian music and heritage. Olamide paid homage to the country’s rich musical history by performing renditions of classic Fuji tracks, including Pasuma’s “Importer and Exporter” and Wasiu K1 Ayinde’s “Omo Naija”.
