Lauren Bennett, a 36-year-old British pop singer known for her vocals on LMFAO’s 2011 hit ‘Party Rock Anthem,’ has died.
Lauren’s girl group band, G.R.L announced in an official statement shared on its Instagram page on Monday.

Expressing its sorrow, the band said, “Our hearts are broken, and we can’t begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us.
“Rest peacefully, sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts.”

Eelive.ng reports that the cause of the singer’s death has not been ascertained, but it was reported by USA TODAY that Kent and Medway Coroner records show that an inquest into the circumstances of her death is scheduled for October.
Lauren Diane Bennett was an English singer from Meopham, Kent. A former member of Paradiso Girls and G.R.L., she also featured on LMFAO’s 2011 international hit single “Party Rock Anthem”.
