Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez has threatened his colleague Odumodublvck with a N2.55 billion suit for defamation, harassment, and threats over social media posts that labelled him a “sexual abuser”.

It would be recalled that Odumodublvck, via social media, alleged that certain individuals in the music industry are shielding Blaqbonez from sexual abuse allegations.

He also continued his public dispute with Blaqbonez’s record label, saying that Chocolate City has tried several times to have him arrested.

In a letter dated July 7, 2026, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, who represent Blaqbonez (whose real name is Emeka Akumefule), accused Odumodublvck (Tochukwu Ojogwu) of making and spreading false statements that have hurt their client’s reputation and business.

The letter asks for N2.55 billion in damages, court orders to stop the statements, and a public apology.

“It is our considered brief that you, Mr. Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu (a.k.a. Odumodu Blvck/Industry Machine), have, over a sustained period, conducted yourself in a manner suggesting that the ordinary restraints of law, civility and accountability do not apply to you,” the document reads in part.

“You have published, republished, and caused to be amplified across your social media platforms, statements of a threatening, defamatory and grossly abusive character, directed specifically at our Client.”

According to the lawyers, the alleged publications unlawfully exposed Blaqbonez “to public ridicule, hatred, contempt and opprobrium” and caused significant damage to his reputation, emotional wellbeing, and commercial interests.

“Our Client has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct,” it added.

The legal team is asking the court to declare that Odumodublvck’s publications describing Blaqbonez as a “sexual abuser,” “sexual abusing bastard,” or suggesting he committed sexual abuse or misconduct are “false, malicious, defamatory and calculated to injure” his reputation, goodwill, and business interests.

They also urged the court to declare that Odumodublvck’s alleged threats, insults, and repeated publications amounted to “a deliberate and sustained campaign of online harassment, intimidation and reputational attack” against Blaqbonez.

Blaqbonez is asking the court for permanent orders to stop Odumodublvck from making any more threatening or defamatory statements, or from claiming that he committed sexual abuse or any other crime.

He also wants the court to order Odumodublvck to remove all the posts, reposts, videos, and other content in question from his X, Instagram, and other online platforms. In addition, Blaqbonez is asking that Odumodublvck be required to post “a full, clear and unequivocal retraction and public apology” on his verified social media accounts, and keep the apology pinned for at least 30 days.

Blaqbonez also wants the court to make Odumodublvck publicly tell his supporters not to “harass, threaten, abuse, intimidate, contact or attack” him.

The letter asks for N2 billion in general damages for harm to Blaqbonez’s reputation, goodwill, business standing, and interests. It also seeks N500 million in aggravated damages, citing what the lawyers call the “malicious, repeated, violent, threatening and reckless nature” of the statements, and N50 million to cover the cost of the legal action.

The legal team warned that if the demands are not met within seven days, they will take legal action without any further warning.

“TAKE NOTICE that you have seven (7) days from the date of this letter within which to comply with the demands set out above, failing which our Client shall, without further recourse to you, and without further notice, commence proceedings for the reliefs set out herein, together with such further and other orders as the circumstances may require,” it added.

“This letter is written without prejudice to all rights, claims and remedies available to our Client, all of which are expressly reserved.”

Responding to the legal threat in a post on X, Odumodublvck maintained his allegation against Blaqbonez, insisting the rapper is a “sexual abuser”.

“@BlaqBonez I STAND ON IT. THIS IS NOT DEFAMATION,” he wrote.

“YOU ARE A SEXUAL ABUSER. YOU DID IT. JUST BECAUSE YOU GIVE A HUNDRED BLOGS TO POST YOUR 10TH PETITION TO ME, DOES NOT MEAN I WILL CHANGE MY STANCE.

“IF I WAS WRONG WHY HAVE YOUR 9 OTHER PETITIONS TO ME FAILED? YOU ARE GUILTY.”
