Former Big Brother Naija housemate cum actor, Pere Egbi has sparked conversation on social media after sharing a reflective message about faith, the rapture and the afterlife.
In a post on X, Egbi expressed his belief that the day the trumpet sounds and the rapture occurs would become the longest trending topic across social media platforms.
The reality star further suggested that discussions surrounding the event would dominate online spaces, with terms such as “rapture”, “Jesus Christ”, “Heaven” and “afterlife” capturing widespread attention.
He wrote: “The day the trumpet sounds and the rapture happens, it will become the LONGEST trending topic on social media. Some of us won’t be here to see it happen. But trust me “rapture,” “Jesus Christ,” “Heaven,” and “afterlife” will all be trending.You might say, “Well Pere, how do you know this?”
“I see how you all relate to the subject now… as though the event will never happen. When it does, those who are still here will make it trend, because you’ll be talking about it day and night.”

According to Egbi, not everyone would be present to witness the moment, yet those who remain would drive constant conversations about it.
