Nigerian dancer and hypeman Poco Lee (Iweh Pascal Odinaka) has been reportedly released from UK custody.
This is according to social media posts and statements circulating the social media space.
An association to Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Benny, share the news via his X handle and appreciated Burna Boy and influencer Rahman Jago for their support and efforts to help the dancer.

Benny also noted that the complainant in his alleged rape case withdrew the charges, leading to his freedom. However, Snaresbrook Crown Court and UK prosecution authorities have issued no independent confirmation.

Poco Lee was remanded in August 2026 after being charged with attempted rape, two counts of rape, and two counts of assault by penetration.

The London court confirmed the charges and listed a plea and trial preparation hearing for 15 September 2026. A reporting restriction protects the complainant’s identity. He had travelled to the UK for the Davido and Friends event at Crystal Palace Bowl.
These claims remain unverified by official sources. The scheduled September 15 hearing has not been publicly cancelled. Poco Lee is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. Earlier viral images of a prison visit with Burna Boy were confirmed as AI-generated.
The story is developing. Further updates will follow any official confirmation from UK authorities.
