
Popular gospel singer, Ron Kenoly has passed away.
eelive.ng learned that the iconic singer died at 81. His death has been confirmed by several artistes via their social media handles.
Top Nigerian minister, Nathaniel Bassey, wrote on Instagram: “Dr Ron Kenoly crosses to yonder side.
“Thank you for inspiring generations of psalmists like me.
“I grew up on these songs. And today, others are growing up on ours.
“Thank you sir.”

Born on 6 December 1944 in Coffeyville, Kansas, US, Kenoly began his music career following his service in the United States Air Force.
He was originally a member of a group called The Mellow Fellows, but family issues led him to leave the group.
His breakthrough came in 1992 when Lift Him Up became the fastest-selling worship album.
He was also the talent behind hit songs such as ‘Majesty’, ‘Righteousness, Peace & Joy’, ‘Anointing’, ‘All Honour’, and ‘Sing Out’, among others.
