
A Nigerian gospel singer, Tawio Adegbodu has passed away after a brief illness.
According to reports, the 37-year-old singer had died in the wee hours of March 1st, 2026, after battling an unusual illness for several weeks.
Until death, Tawio sang alongside his brother, Samuel Kehinde Adegbolu, and they were renowned for their work in the entertainment industry.

The twins were admired not only for their musical talent but also for their dedication to Christian music, making them prominent figures in Nigeria’s Christian music scene.

They are renowned for their spiritual contributions to the Yoruba gospel music genre, spreading messages of faith, hope and blessings through their music.
